Harley Owners Keep Vigilant

One of our members has had 3 Harleys stolen on Friday night - all top dollar mint condition bikes - looks like there is a gang of low lifes targeting this area -- this has devastated Phil & Mollie and anyone with any information on the matter please get in touch. They were taken from home so anyone selling a bike take care not to be over friendly with potential buyers -- they could be casing the joint.

You Have Been Warned

Stand and Deliver! Dick Turpin's Caravan Stand and Deliver!

Peter & Barbara opened Dick Turpin’s in March 1990. The whole thing started on the Broughton road, where it stayed in the lay-by for 8 years. Then they moved to the present site when the council put in the roundabout.

Always sure of a warm and friendly reception whatever the weather, Dick Turpin’s was one of only two takeaways on the A59 corridor that was 5 star rated by Roofer’s magazine. Living up to their infamous motto “you stand and we’ll deliver” !  Peter and Barbara are Joint Patrons of the Dick Turpin’s Disciples and do a mean beef salad freshly caught and crimped that morning by Bling himself!!!

Endless piss taking and jokes abound a sense of humour, however dark, - is essential, we host rock nites and have had our very first rally/bash, it is hoped this will become an annual event.

Please call and see us at the Dick Turpin’s Take-Away on the A59 between Gisburn and Broughton in the layby. Most weekends there are riders there whatever the weather, faces fixed with stupid grins and wide eyed stares after braving the elements on the good ’ole A59.
